Do not use Social Media to impress people, use it to impact people The Media Interaction and Outreach Cell (MIC) of the University of North Bengal is constituted with the purpose to broaden and strengthen media interaction and outreach of the university. The primary role of the MIC is to disseminate the happenings, events and achievements of the university in different electronic and press media including social media.

Comprising of Officers, Teachers and Research Scholars of the university, the MIC collects information from the concerned departments about important steps taken by them for broader academic interest and subsequently the same is published in the form of press note. The press note is also shared widely amongst the university fraternity and the media groups. Photographs, videos, newspaper cuttings, etc. of the important programs are also posted in the official Facebook and YouTube channel of the university.

The Cell is also in a process to capture aerial view of the university, facilities & uniqueness of each department, views of the university & local community about NBU in video form for wide publicity.
