Utilization of unused land in campus for resource mobilization

  • Tea plantation in the campus in collaboration with a private tea proprietary firm ( Greenol Lab Pvt. Ltd.). :  Area under tea 40 acres (approx.). It is also used for field training of the P.G.Diploma course in  Tea Management  students and for research by the faculties.
  • Rubber plantation project  in 18 acres (demonstration/pilot project  funded by the Rubber Board of India  in 2.5 acres and the rest by a private enterprenuer.
  • Centre for Floriculture & Agri-business Management ( COFAM ) in the PADMAJA PARK.
  • Project by Inst. Of Plantation Science & Management ( IPSM ) in the PADMAJA PARK.
  • Fisheries Project   ( 10 ponds ) --- R & D   by the Dept. of Zoology.
  • Bio-mass plantation in 10 acres under project funded by the Dept. of Non-conventional Energy Sources, GOI.
  • Rainwater Harvesting Project in the Magurmari river basin area ( 15 acres ) by M/S Coco Cola Ltd.
